Jefferson Noël
Jefferson Noël is a professor at Florida International University, 5x published author, TEDx speaker, founder of Barbershop Speaks, award-winning educator, and global speaker who has presented in Poland, Haiti, Romania, Italy, and Nigeria.
He is the executive producer of My First Generation Story, a documentary that follows his journey battling insecurities and overcoming challenges as the son of Haitian immigrants while achieving generational milestones; his work has been featured on MSNBC, NBC News Now, and NPR.
His awards include Miami’s Top Educator Distinction, the Beacon Award, Jefferson Noel Day in the City of North Miami Beach, and a 2026 Recognition of Excellence from the defending champion Florida Panthers.
