The mentor-mentee relationship is a two-way street. It shouldn’t be one-sided with only the mentor pouring into the mentee.

In fact, every smart mentee knows they should provide value first. I learned the “Give, Give, Give, Ask” mindset nearly a decade ago as a student, thanks to Pam Hoelzle. That principle revolutionized the way I view mentorship and community.
